Ahead of this years NEET UG 2025 examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has recognized 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram channels which are spreading false details about the medical entrance examination, experiences have claimed.
According to a report by information company PTI, the NTA has initiated action on sure fraudulent Telegram and Instagram channels claiming to have entry to the NEET UG 2025 query paper.
“Acting on inputs received through its recently-launched Suspicious Claims Reporting Portal, the NTA has identified 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram channels engaged in spreading misinformation and attempting to mislead students,” a supply was quoted as saying by the information company.

The testing company has thus escalated the problem with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) underneath the Ministry of Home Affairs,
“These cases have been formally escalated to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs for further legal and investigative action,” as per the supply quoted by PTI.

“Telegram and Instagram have been urged to share the details of the administrators and creators of these groups with law-enforcement agencies for prompt investigation and prosecution,” the supply stated, as per PTI.
NEET UG 2025 examination date has been fastened on May 4. The NTA has already launched the admit playing cards for the medical examination.
NEET UG 2025 time is between 2 pm and 5 pm.
