The saffron party categorically stated that there was “no possibility of third party mediation” in PoK problem after the grand previous party introduced “Jai Hind” rallies throughout nation demanding Prime Minister Narendra Modi to talk up on US President Donald Trump’s position in India-Pakistan truce. “On the issue of mediation, which the Opposition tried to raise, it is being very unequivocally expressed by the Government of India that the issue of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir is a bilateral issue. It is to be settled on the bilateral terms between India and Pakistan. There is no scope for any mediation from any other country,” BJP chief Sudhanshu Trivedi stated, including: ” The government has not used the word ‘ceasefire’ with Pakistan anywhere, opposition should refrain from making unnecessary, unwarranted comments.”Also learn: Congress questions PM Modi, EAM Jaishankar’s silence over Donald Trump’s India-Pakistan ceasefire declare“With due respect to all the countries of the world which have a positive outlook for India, we want to say that this issue of PoK is just a bilateral issue between India and Pakistan. There is no scope for any mediation by any country, including those countries which were said to be the guardians of democracy and were asked to interfere in the democratic process of India. The Opposition should show its true spirit and shed the politics at least until the Operation Sindoor finishes. Still, if they want to go ahead, this poses a serious question on their intent and commitment on the issue of national security in the eyes of the public,” he added. On the opposition’s calls for of a particular Parliament session to debate the Pahalgam terror assault that killed 26, Trivedi instructed that it ought to look ahead to Operation Sindoor to get over.“This is now India’s new established policyβ€”a new normal. If the Opposition, including the Congress Party, claims to stand with the government, that commitment must be visible not just in words, but also in actions. Unity in mind, speech, and deed is essential. Hollow words, contradicted by actions, only breed mistrust. I say this because Operation Sindoor is still underway. Raising questions during an ongoing operation casts doubt on one’s intent. At a time when the nation must speak in one voice, such actions are not just inappropriate, they are irresponsible,” he stated.Trump saying the truce earlier than the India and Pakistan confirmed it has raised a number of eyebrows over a third party intervention into the matter. Moreover, the US president has repeatedly asserted that the States performed a key position in brokering peace between the 2 nations following their navy escalation, even claiming he threatened to halt commerce with each nations to forestall additional battle. However, authorities sources have dismissed these claims, stating that no trade-related discussions occurred with US officers for the reason that launch of Operation Sindoor. Despite addressing the nation twice for the reason that ceasefire, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has remained silent on Trump’s assertions.
