NEW DELHI: In the wake of Maharashtra train mishap, Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and railway board officers proposed main modifications in the design and manufacturing of new non-AC trains on Monday, to keep away from any harmful incident. Earlier on Monday morning, 4 individuals had been killed and 9 others had been injured after falling off two overcrowded native trains in Thane district throughout rush hour. Railways additional mentioned that the first train of this new design will likely be prepared by November 2025. “After necessary tests and certification, it will be put into service by January 2026,” it added.
