The trailer for the second season of Special Ops, a stand-out collection from the early wave of Indian streaming, was launched in Mumbai on Monday (June 16). Created by Neeraj Pandey, the collection heralds the return of Kay Kay Menon as sharp, inscrutable R&AW officer Himmat Singh. Menon final performed Himmat within the prequel collection, Special Ops 1.5, launched in 2021.
While earlier seasons of Special Ops have turned on typical terrorist plots in opposition to India, 2.0 turns its consideration to the murky, nebulous world of cyber warfare. The trailer guarantees a dense, globe-trotting narrative centered on AI, knowledge breaches, and kidnapped scientists.
