England skipper Ben Stokes received the toss and opted to bat towards India, who introduced again tempo spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, within the third Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar sequence at Lord’s on Thursday (July 10, 2025).

Bumrah returned to the Indian taking part in XI after sitting out the second match at Birmingham, whereas England quick bowler Jofra Archer will likely be showing in his first Test since February 2021.
Archer has come rather than Josh Tongue, whereas Bumrah has changed Prasidh Krishna within the Indian line-up.
The five-match sequence is locked at 1-1 after England and India received in Leeds and Birmingham respectively.
