Yuvraj Singh has been a part of India’s two World Cup-winning squads — the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup.
The former Indian all-rounder admits {that a} World Cup at house comes with added pressure. And as India’s ladies’s cricket workforce gears up for an ODI World Cup on house soil, Yuvraj believes it’s vital for the gamers to imagine in themselves.
“The fans are always wanting fours and sixes, or wickets. That’s the game. They come to watch. They want entertainment. They want to be entertained,” Yuvraj stated on the sidelines of the 50-day countdown occasion for the World Cup right here on Monday.
According to him, dealing with the pressure will be the key.
“If you want to win the World Cup, you have to be in the situation you are in, I think. There will be times where they’re going to feel that pressure.
“There will be times when things are not going well. And that’s the time when the experience, the self-belief, has to take over. The belief that I can be the player at this moment. I think every time you walk in the game, you have to believe that,” Yuvraj stated, including that the workforce wants to keep in the current and never look too far forward.
