Revanth to perform ‘bhoomi puja’ for ₹351-crore temple development work in Bhadrachalam today

Elaborate preparations have been made for ‘Sri Sita Rama Kalyana Mahotsavam’ to be held at Mithila Stadium in Bhadrachalam, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, on the event of Rama Navami on Friday.

According to official sources, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will current ‘mutyala talambralu’ and ‘pattu vastrams’ on the celestial marriage ceremony in line with age-old temple traditions.

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka will accompany the Chief Minister.

The celestial marriage ceremony will probably be held from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

The Chief Minister will perform Bhoomi Puja for the temple development works price round ₹351 crore later in the day.

Around 2,000 police personnel have been deployed as a part of bandobust preparations. The historic Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy temple in Bhadrachalam has been decked up with serial lighting.
