Election Commission says ₹408.82 crore value of illicit inducements seized from poll-bound States until now
The Election Commission on Thursday (March 26, 2026) mentioned over ₹408.82 crore value of illicit inducements, together with ₹17.44 crore in money, liquor value ₹37.68 crore and medicines value ₹167.38 crore, had been seized by a coordinated strategy involving multi-enforcement businesses within the 4 States and one union territory going for Assembly polls subsequent month.
