The Punjab National Bank (PNB) Officers’ union has written to the financial institution’s managing director to rethink the mass-scale switch of Scale IV officers and above, saying that such large relocation would influence the efficiency of the nation’s second-largest public-sector lender.
In a letter to the financial institution’s MD and CEO Ashok Chandra, the All India Punjab National Bank Officers’ Association stated that 1,142 Scale IV officers, almost one-fourth of its power, have been given switch orders, creating large disruption.
