Raghav Chadha rebuts claims of ignoring Punjab issues, shares video of Parliament interventions

Responding to claims that he didn’t elevate Punjab-related points in Parliament, Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Sunday (April 5, 2026) shared a video highlighting his interventions on key issues affecting the State.

In the video, Mr. Chadha is seen elevating points comparable to declining underground water ranges, issues associated to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, and different Punjab-centric issues.

Sharing the video on X, Mr. Chadha pushed again towards the criticism from throughout the celebration and underlined his connection to the state.

“To my colleagues in AAP who were forced to issue videos saying that ‘Raghav Chadha failed to raise Punjab’s issues in Parliament’, here is a small trailer, ‘Picture Abhi Baaki Hai’,” he mentioned.

He added that Punjab is not a speaking level for him. It is his residence, responsibility, his soil and soul.

The AAP has accused Mr. Chadha of shying away from elevating his voice towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre in Parliament and as a substitute participating in “soft PR”. Chadha, nonetheless, has dismissed the allegations as “lies” and asserted that he went to Parliament to boost folks’s points and never create a ruckus.
