Biggest barrier to adopting AI in academia is ‘lack of training’: students, teachers

The single largest barrier to adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) in tutorial set ups is the shortage of coaching, college students and teachers have said in ‘The AI Sentiment and Readiness Report’, launched by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). 

The report captures interviews of roughly 1,000 college students and 100 educators and identifies the “capabilities gap” because the core problem, which it proposes to fill by investing in AI coaching, instruments and platforms.
