Amit Shah, in response to Akhilesh Yadav, says the strategy of Census has begun. “The government has already taken the decision to conduct the caste census. The Census 2027 is being done with caste in account.”
“If SP has its way, they might even give caste to houses. I want to assure the House that the Census is going to happen with the caste census as well,” he says, taking a jibe at the opposition social gathering.
Based on faith, reservation of any variety for Muslims is unconstitutional, Mr. Shah says.
To this, Mr. Yadav asks whether or not Muslim inhabitants doesn’t come beneath the 50% bracket. “Let SP give all its tickets to Muslim women, we don’t oppose it,” Mr. Shah retorts.
Speaker Om Birla stops the change, asking them to not “debate” on this method.
