Bapatla forms adventure tourism safety panel; paramotor, jet ski rides launched at Chirala

The Bapatla district administration has arrange a district-level safety committee to supervise adventure tourism and make sure the safety of holiday makers. District Collector V. Vinod Kumar issued orders under the Andhra Pradesh Adventure Tourism Guidelines, 2025. The committee will determine adventure zones, grant no-objection certificates (NOCs), monitor safety requirements and act in opposition to violations, he mentioned. It will meet as soon as each three months.

The order coincided with the launch of adventure tourism actions at Ramapuram seashore in Chirala mandal on Sunday (April 19, 2026). Tourism Minister (In-charge) Kolusu Parthasarathy, together with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) Chairman Nukasani Balaji, the Collector and Chirala MLA M. Malakondaiah, inaugurated paramotor and jet ski rides beneath the “Dive Chirala” programme.
