DGP to probe harassment allegations, concerns of SP regarding Mangaluru police chief: Karnataka Minister

Home Minister G. Parameshwara mentioned he has directed the Director General of Police (DGP) of Karnataka to submit an in depth report on allegations of harassment made by an inspector of Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement (DCRE), and a separate letter written by a Superintendent of Police towards the Mangaluru City Police Commissioner.

Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru on April 21, Dr. Parameshwara mentioned he had taken observe of media studies regarding the difficulty. The DCRE Inspector, recognized as Srinivas, has levelled critical allegations whereas SP Kashinath has written to the DGP highlighting his concerns.
