Bridging the gap: Skill training for women with disabilities

Women with disabilities in India face deeply entrenched social stigma formed by cultural misconceptions and patriarchal norms. According to a 2025 examine printed in the International Journal of Research Publication and Reviews, women with disabilities in India proceed to face compounded types of exclusion throughout gender, incapacity, socioeconomic standing, and entry to schooling and employment. Skill improvement applications, digital training initiatives, and inclusive employment fashions are starting to shift the narrative, from survival to independence. However, the scale of inclusion stays deeply uneven.
