In India’s first worldwide shipyard acquisition, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) final month acquired a 51% controlling stake in Sri Lanka’s Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC), strengthening India’s maritime presence within the Indian Ocean Region.
