Lucknow dispatches ten thousand ration kits for flood-affected families following directives from Defense Minister Rajnath Singh

LUCKNOW — Ten thousand ration kits were dispatched on Saturday for flood-affected families in the Faizullaganj area of Lucknow, following directives issued by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
BJP MLA Pankaj Singh flagged off the relief tractor-trolleys from the Maharishi University campus located on IIM Road. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to deliver essential daily-use ration supplies directly to households affected by flooding in the locality.
Addressing the relief distribution, Pankaj Singh stated that ₹300 crore has been approved for a permanent solution to the recurrent flood problem in Faizullaganj and for broader regional development works. According to Pankaj Singh, the blueprint for these infrastructure projects was finalized during a high-level meeting between Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Under the approved developmental plan, new flood pumping stations and embankments will be constructed to protect the area. The Chief Minister has granted immediate approval for these engineering works, and construction is scheduled to begin shortly following a foundation stone-laying ceremony.
In addition to flood mitigation infrastructure, related civic works have been ordered across the locality. The Public Works Department has been tasked with constructing major roads, while the Municipal Corporation has been directed to build internal lanes and drainage systems.
