NEW DELHI: The Aam Aadmi Party‘s (AAP) office in Bhopal, working from a leased home, has been locked by the owner allegedly attributable to three months of unpaid rent.
“All this happens when we work with honesty. Things will improve. We are honest. Right now, our party does not have funds. So we couldn’t do it,” AAP’s Madhya Pradesh joint secretary Ramakant Patel informed PTI over the cellphone.
Patel added that the celebration depends on native funds, however employees are dealing with monetary difficulties. “I won’t know about the amount of office rent and the time since it has not been paid,” he stated.
Taking a swipe, BJP state spokesperson Narendra Saluja wrote on X, “AAP’s MP office locked, next number is of Congress.”
The incident comes within the wake of AAP’s crushing defeat within the Delhi meeting polls, the place the BJP secured 48 out of 70 seats, leaving Arvind Kejriwal’s celebration with simply 22.
