Prime Video has pulled the plug on Citadel: Honey Bunny and Citadel: Diana, regardless of each spin-offs racking up robust viewership. The choice comes as a part of a broader shakeup following the departure of Jennifer Salke, former head of Amazon MGM Studios, who championed the worldwide Citadeluniverse.

Created by the Russo Brothers, the Indian and Italian chapters — Honey Bunny and Diana — have been designed as regional expansions of the main Citadel series starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Both offshoots have been government produced by the Russos and explored totally different branches of the covert spy organisation central to the franchise.
Despite Honey Bunny, led by Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan, changing into the platform’s most-watched debut in India and Diana delivering Italy’s strongest unique launch on Prime Video, neither present will proceed past their first season.
“While these successful and widely enjoyed international chapters will not continue as individual series, Season 2 of Citadel will be our most exhilarating yet,” mentioned Vernon Sanders, head of tv at Amazon MGM Studios.

The upcoming season of the flagship Citadel series is about to premiere globally within the second quarter of 2026. Amazon confirmed that storylines from each Honey Bunny and Diana might be folded into the central narrative, persevering with the arcs of characters like Nadia, Mason, and Orlick.
The cancellations arrive amid experiences of different tasks being quietly dropped, together with hypothesis across the destiny of Amazon’s Tomb Raider series with Sophie Turner. No official assertion has been made on that entrance but.
