Former Indian cricket crew captain Anil Kumble, who was not too long ago appointed ambassador of the Karnataka Forest Department and for wildlife conservation, mentioned that he would work with the division for forest and wildlife conservation, and its improvement within the State.

On June 3, Mr. Kumble referred to as on Environment Minister Eshwar Khandre and thanked the federal government of Karnataka for appointing him as the ambassador for the division.

He mentioned that his earlier expertise of serving as vice-president of the Karnataka Wildlife Board would assist him in his new position.

The Minister mentioned that Mr. Kumble has immense concern and love for wildlife, forest conservation and the setting, and has agreed to develop into the ambassador for forests and wildlife with out anticipating any remuneration, which is a testomony to his concern and dedication to the setting.

He expressed confidence that the previous cricketer will promote forest and wildlife conservation, and create consciousness among the many folks.
