Army foils infiltration bid along LoC in J&K’s Rajouri

JAMMU: Thwarting a possible infiltration bid by terrorists attempting to breach the border, alert Army personnel stationed along the Line of Control (LoC) in Sunderbani sector of J&Ok’s Rajouri district opened fireplace early Wednesday on observing uncommon motion in the ahead space.
“Following the firing, the area was placed under heightened surveillance with additional troops and high-tech monitoring equipment deployed to track any further developments,” an official stated.
On Feb 16, Army personnel successfully retaliated to an unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistan military along the LoC in Poonch’s Gulpur sector. Earlier on Feb 8, Indian troops equally shot again at suspected terrorists who had opened fireplace along the LoC in Rajouri district.
