NEW DELHI: Delhi Police on Sunday assured Arvind Kejriwal of strict authorized motion after he posted on X a clip of males seen encircling AAP’s marketing campaign van and tearing down the celebration’s posters.
The New Delhi DCP, responding to Kejriwal’s put up, claimed that “no PCR name or criticism was obtained in police station”.
The highest cop assured strict authorized motion as soon as the formal criticism was registered.
“No PCR name or criticism obtained in police station. It’s requested {that a} formal criticism could also be lodged within the Police station and we guarantee strict authorized motion,” the Delhi police mentioned in a reply to the AAP chief’s put up the place he claimed that Union dwelling minister Amit Shah “was behind the incident”.
Members of the Valmiki Samaj and Dalit Mapanchayat, who held a protest in opposition to Kejriwal, reportedly attacked AAP’s election marketing campaign van passing from there.
Reacting to the assault, Kejriwal posted a clip saying: “See the proof of Amit Shah’s goons’ hooliganism in Delhi.”
Within the clip shared by ex-Delhi CM, the AAP has claimed that two males concerned within the incident have been shut aides of Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma who’s contesting from the New Delhi meeting seat in opposition to Kejriwal.
In the meantime, AAP MLA and candidate from the Rithala constituency, Mohinder Goyal was attacked throughout a rally after which he fell unconscious, as per the Delhi Police.
At present, Goyal was rushed to the Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini. The Delhi Police obtained a PCR name at round 11.15 am in the present day after which the police crew reached the spot.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh additionally accused the BJP of orchestrating the assault.
On X, he wrote, “BJP is shedding badly in Delhi and in frustration, it has resorted to violence. AAP MLA @MohinderAAP from Rithala was attacked by BJP goons. The place is the Election Fee sleeping?”
The Delhi Meeting elections will happen in a single section on February 5, with the vote counting scheduled for February 8.
