Indian selectors led by Ajit Agarkar introduced the Indian cricket crew for the forthcoming two-Test series against West Indies, on Thursday (September 25, 2025).

All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was named the vice captain for the crew led by Shubman Gill.

As Rishabh Pant was injured in the course of the England series, Dhruv Jurel has been referred to as in as the principle wicket-keeper.

Tamil Nadu’s N. Jagadeesan was named because the second wicket-keeper.

Karun Nair, who had a disastrous England series, was dropped from the squad. Devdutt Padikkal was named as his alternative.

The selectors in any other case retained the core crew that toured England.
