Centre updates list of banks authorised to import gold, silver under Foreign Trade Policy

The Department of Commerce, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has up to date the list of banks authorised to import gold and silver, as per an official notification issued on Friday (April 18, 2026).

According to the notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), amendments have been made in Appendix 4B of the Handbook of Procedures, 2023, under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP), 2023.
