Cops get swift promotions in Chhattisgarh for anti-Maoist ops

RAIPUR: The Chhattisgarh authorities has granted out-of-turn promotions to 295 police personnel in recognition of acts of bravery in combating Maoists because the state pushes on in direction of its aim of eliminating Naxal insurgency by March 2026.An order issued by DGP Arun Deo Gautam said that police personnel who displayed distinctive braveness throughout anti-Naxal operations throughout the area are being rewarded with accelerated promotions.
