Jharkhand wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan will lead the East Zone workforce in the Duleep Trophy to be held in Bengaluru from August 28.
The star-studded workforce contains pacers Mohammed Shami, Akash Deep and Mukesh Kumar, aside from outstanding batters reminiscent of Abhimanyu Easwaran and Riyan Parag. Teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi is among the many standbys.
East Zone will tackle North Zone in its first match, to be held from August 28 to 31.
