At least 4 individuals had been killed and as many injured in a blast near Afghan border in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Wednesday (June 25, 2025) police stated.

The blast passed off when one of many victims stepped on the explosive machine in a forest near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Kurram district’s Parachinar, a police supply stated.

The police stated the injured and people killed had been moved to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.

The police stated an investigation has been launched into the incident and safety tightened in the area.
