India gifted 15 electric vehicles to Nepal on Sunday (May 11, 2025) to facilitate the organisation of ‘Sagarmatha Sambad’ (mountain dialogue).

The Nepal Government is internet hosting Sagarmatha Sambad in Kathmandu from May 16-18 on the theme ‘Climate Change, Mountains and the Future of Humanity’.

Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava introduced 15 electric vehicles to Nepal’s Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba at a operate held on the Foreign Affairs Ministry, in accordance to a press launch issued by the ministry.

The vehicles will likely be used to facilitate the motion of friends and officers attending the occasion, which goals to spotlight the influence of local weather change on mountain areas.

Ambassador Srivastava prolonged his greatest needs to Nepal for the summit and reaffirmed India’s dedication to supporting Nepal’s progress and growth, in accordance to a press launch issued by the Indian Embassy.
