Israel’s military stated on Tuesday (May 27, 2025) it had intercepted a missile and one other projectile fired from Yemen, which Iran-backed Houthi rebels stated they’d fired.
“Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted,” the military posted on Telegram.

It stated in a separate assertion {that a} projectile had been intercepted by the air pressure, with out sirens being activated.
The Houthis, who management massive swathes of Yemen, later claimed they’d launched two “ballistic missiles” in the direction of Israel.
