NEW DELHI: An Army jawan was killed and two others injured in a landmine blast alongside the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, officers confirmed to PTI on Friday.During an space domination patrol in the Krishna Ghati sector of Jammu and Kashmir, a mine blast resulted in the loss of life of an Agniveer jawan and accidents to 2 others, together with a JCO, officers stated.

The injured troopers have been taken to a army hospital and are reported to be in secure situation.Paying tribute, the White Knight Corps posted on X:”GOC White Knight Corps and all ranks pay solemn tribute to Agniveer Lalit Kumar of 7 JAT Regiment, who made the supreme sacrifice while on an area domination patrol in the general area of Krishna Ghati brigade, following a mine blast.”“We stand with the bereaved family in this hour of grief,” the Corps added.
