Kargil voices concern over Ladakh’s 7 new districts, ‘only 2 Muslim-majority’

There have been rising voices in Kargil on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) questioning Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena’s choice to carve out 5 new districts in Ladakh, with solely two Muslim-majority districts.
