After the late legendary S. Karivardhanâs introduction of FISSME (Formula India Single Seater Maruti Engine) and B. Vijayakumarâs FLGB 1300, a brand new inexpensive collection, Levitas Cup, is about to be launched this weekend as a part of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship.
The Levitas Cup is a one-make racing collection based and run by Shravanthika Lakshmi, a 21-year-old racing driver from Coimbatore.
âWe have 16 cars, of which we initially planned for eight rookies and eight professionals. Now with the rookies more interested in getting in, we thought of increasing the number to 10,â stated Shravanthika, who represented India in the World Motorsport Games in Rome in 2019.
Multiple nationwide racing champion Arjun Narendran, who did the preliminary testing, was happy with the efficiency. âIt is really good and a well-balanced car. I was surprised because it was very consistent throughout testing.â
The Levitas Cup shall be a part of the three rounds of the JK National Racing Championship, and there shall be eight races in complete.
