An all-women managed hotel shall be open in Bhopal quickly for the corporate to begin its Indian operations, he stated.
“We were the first one in Asia to operate the fast couples only all powered by women managed hotel in the Maldives which is a huge success. And we are trying to get that success story to India. We are opening a hotel in Bhopal, which will be managed by women only,” he stated.
The firm which began in 2014 at the moment provides 9% of the overall hotel stock in the Maldives, ranging from 4 to 5 star luxurious and uber luxurious resort properties.
Its manufacturers embody Colours of Oblu, The Ozen Collection and Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts. The firm at the moment operates 9 properties in Maldives.
“In India we have signed a couple of hotels. We should open 2 to 3 hotels in the next couple of years here. In the next 5 years, I would say that at least we will run 15 to 20 hotels and resorts in India,” he stated.
“But in India, as we are more of an experiential hotel brand, we will be focusing less on the cities. We will be in holiday cities like Bengaluru, will focus more on leisure cities and scenic places, places with nature like we are in,” he identified.
The firm is taking a look at North, Northeast India for progress. One hotel is arising in Kolkata and it’s taking a look at Goa as properly.
“Most of our hotels in India would be experiential hotels. Let’s put this way more leisure, more experiential. We will not be doing business hotels,” he emphasised.
He stated the corporate is growing its footprint in Middle East and Africa for wildlife nature. It has sighed one property in Italy which is an outdated monastery that has been transformed into a heritage hotel.
The firm is taking a look at Nepal and Bhutan markets, he stated.
The firm will quickly have a portfolio of 12 to 13 lodges in the Maldives and could have one in Sri Lanka, Mr. Panigrahi stated.
