Captain Mitchell Marsh has confirmed he’ll open the batting alongside Travis Head for the “foreseeable future” as Australia lock in a key mixture forward of subsequent 12 months’s T20 World Cup.

Marsh’s promotion to No. 3 forward of the 2021 T20 World Cup had proved decisive, as he starred in the ultimate with a player-of-the-match efficiency to assist Australia secured their maiden title.

Now main the T20I facet, the 33-year-old stated he’ll keep on the prime of the order after opening in all 5 matches towards the West Indies final month, having accomplished so solely as soon as earlier than the tour of the Caribbean.
