Punjab Kings opener Prabhsimran Singh believes the group is on monitor for a protracted-awaited IPL playoff return, because of a renewed sense of function under captain Shreyas Iyer and head coach Ricky Ponting. Despite a rain-affected match towards KKR, the opener stays optimistic. “The chances of qualification are still very high. And obviously, if we qualify, then we will look towards the trophy. The team has trusted me all these years, now it’s my turn to pay them back.”
