Retired Jharkhand High Court choose, Justice Amitav Kumar Gupta, was on Tuesday (April 21, 2026) sworn in as the State’s new Lokayukta.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar administered the oath of workplace to him throughout a ceremony on the Lok Bhavan in Ranchi. Chief Minister Hemant Soren was additionally current on the event together with different dignitaries.
Mr. Gupta was appointed the Lokayukta of Jharkhand by the Governor on April 16.
