Filmmaker Subhash Ghai on Wednesday introduced Aitraaz 2, a follow-up to his 2004 movie on its twentieth launch anniversary. Aitraaz, starring Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Kareena Kapoor Khan, was a romantic thriller which hit the screens on November 12, 2004. The romantic thriller movie was directed by Abbas–Mustan.
Ghai, who produced the movie through his banner Mukta Arts, stated the script of the sequel is prepared. He took to Instagram to share the information.
Calling it a “best script with 3 years of arduous work”, the producer recalled how Priyanka was initially uncertain about taking part in the function of Sonia, who accuses her former lover and junior colleague Raj (Akshay) of sexual harassment. “That’s why cine lovers can’t neglect her efficiency even after 20 years right this moment. When she was too apprehensive to do that function of an ardent bold girl however did it with full confidence…” Ghai stated.
Aitraaz additionally starred Amrish Puri, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Upasana Singh, and Vivek Shauq.
