Brisk polling in southern districts of Tamil Nadu; Ramanathapuram Collector says over 30 % polling recorded at 11 a.m.

Brisk polling commenced within the southern districts of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. Except for a couple of complaints of technical snag within the poll unit in a pair of polling stations in Dindigul and Thoothukudi, it was largely peaceable, officers mentioned.

The south zone consists of 10 districts particularly – Theni, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sivaganga, Ramanathapuram, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Kanniyakumari and Thoothukudi.

There are 58 Assembly Constituencies.
