Tesla India takes on lease 8,200 sq. ft. commercial space in Delhi’s Aerocity

Electric car big Tesla, which is increasing its presence in India, has rented 8,200 sq. ft. of commercial space in Delhi’s Aerocity for a beginning lease of ₹17.22 lakh monthly, based on CRE Matrix.

Real property information analytics agency CRE Matrix, which has reviewed the registration doc of leasing transactions, stated that Tesla India Motor’s & Energy Pvt. Ltd. has taken on lease 8,200 sq ft space at Worldmark 3 challenge in Aerocity from Oak Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd.

The space has been taken for a 9-year lease, with a beginning lease of ₹17.22 lakh.

The beginning lease is ₹210 per sq ft. The leases will enhance by 15% each 36 months. The lease registration occurred on July 30, 2025.

Elon Musk-led Tesla made its India retail debut final month with a retailer in the Bandra Kurla Complex enterprise district in suburban Mumbai. The firm is promoting the China-made ‘Model Y’ with a price ticket of practically ₹60 lakh after accounting for the excessive import duties.

Recently, Tesla leased a 33,000 sq. ft. space in a commercial constructing at Gurugram, Haryana, which can be utilized as a service centre and gross sales outlet, based on CRE Matrix.

The firm registered a 9-year lease for the unit in Gurugram’s Orchid Business Park.

Tesla shall be paying a beginning lease of ₹40 lakh for the Gurugram property. There is a clause in the settlement beneath which the lease will escalate by 4.75% every year.

The chargeable space is 33,475 sq ft, whereas the super-built-up space of the property is 50,914 sq ft, CRE Matrix had stated, including that there’s a 3-year lock-in.

The property has been leased from Garwal Property, and the lease was registered on July 28.
