Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly, Suvendu Adhikari, on Tuesday (April 28, 2026) alleged {that a} Trinamool Congress councillor had procured “hundreds of artificial fingers” to facilitate bogus voting in the high-profile Bhabanipur constituency, a cost dismissed by the ruling celebration.
Addressing reporters a day forward of polling in the second section of the Assembly election, Mr. Adhikari, claimed that the councilor had bought over 700 “artificial fingers” to allow fraudulent voting.
