NEW DELHI: Lucknow will play host to India’s high sports activities champions on the Instances of India Sports activities Awards (TOISA) on February 22, 2025.
Honouring high Indian athletes and their indomitable spirit, TOISA returns to the fantastic metropolis of Nawabs to shine the highlight on the champions who introduced satisfaction to the nation in the course of the 2024 calendar 12 months.
There are over 175 nominees throughout 36 common sports activities and 12 para-sports classes. Classes embrace Kabaddi, Kho Kho, Hockey, Athletics and Cricket, to call just a few.
The TOISA 2025 Jury includes of former long-jumper and senior vice-president of AFI, Anju Bobby George; Olympic medal-winning wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt; Former captain of the Indian hockey crew, Dilip Tirkey; Paralympic medalist Javelin thrower Devendra Jhajharia; Olympic medallist and six-time world boxing champion Mary Kom.
The illustrious jury will meet to pick the winners on February 10, 2025.
By honouring the accolades of nationwide sports activities icons, TOISA goals to rejoice the previous and nurture the way forward for sports activities in India. TOISA 2025 hopes to offer a stepping stone for aspiring stars to chase their goals on the worldwide stage.
