Two individuals had been arrested by the cyber crime wing of the Malkajgiri police in separate cases involving investment and job frauds as a part of a week-long crackdown between April 5 and April 10, 2026.
In the primary case, Chamala Balakishan Reddy, a resident of Jaipuri Colony in Nagole, was arrested for supplying financial institution accounts to cyber fraudsters on a fee foundation. Police stated the person enabled the switch of cheated cash by way of a number of accounts, considered one of which was linked to as many as 21 cases registered on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.
