U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has accepted a gifted Boeing 747 from Qatar for President Donald Trump to use as Air Force One, the Pentagon mentioned Wednesday (May 21, 2025).

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell mentioned the division will ā€œwork to ensure proper security measuresā€ on the plane to make it secure for use by the president. He mentioned the airplane was accepted ā€œin accordance with all federal rules and regulationsā€.
