Unions plan 1-day strike against Samsung

KANCHEEPURAM: The centre of Indian commerce union (CITU) has determined to double down the strain on Samsung Electronics administration by intensifying protests, asserting one-day strike within the industrial hub of Kancheepuram and state-wide protests against showrooms promoting Samsung client durables.
E Muthukumar, CITU Kancheepuram district functionary, mentioned one-day industrial strike will probably be held on March 8 with participation from round 15,000 employees affiliated with CITU and different labour teams from 58 industrial items.
