As the high-decibel campaigning for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly election, some of the intently watched contests in latest years, ended on Tuesday night, the highlight fell on the fledgling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) based by actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay.
A brand new entrant to Tamil Nadu’s extremely contested electoral battlefield, Mr. Vijay, a celebrated Kollywood star on whose reputation the get together is banking-on to face the election, attracted large crowds to his freewheeling roadshows, drawing vital numbers of girls and youth.
