Bengaluru: The International Cricket Council (ICC) introduced a report-breaking prize money pot of $13.88 million (Rs 122.5 crore approx) on Monday for the Women’s ODI World Cup commencing on Sept 30. Co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the match’s prize money has elevated by 297%, up from $3.5 million on the 2022 version held in New Zealand.
