Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) introduced a compensation of ₹25 lakh every to the eleven individuals who died within the franchise’s IPL victory celebrations.
In a submit on ‘X’, RCB said, “We lost eleven members of the RCB family. They were part of us. Part of what makes our city, our community & our team unique. Their absence will echo in the memories of each one of us. No amount of support can ever fill the space they’ve left behind. But as a first step, and with the deepest respect, RCB has extended ₹25 lakh each to their families. Not just as financial aid, but as a promise of compassion, unity, and ongoing care.”
The announcement marked the start of the ‘RCB CARES’ initiative, a “long-term commitment for meaningful action”.
On Thursday (August 29, 2025), RCB broke a three-month lengthy silence with a condolence submit. “The Silence wasn’t Absence. It was Grief,” the assertion learn.
The submit went on to point out the ‘RCB CARES’ initiative. “That’s how RCB CARES came to life. It grew out of a need to honour, to heal, and to stand beside our fans,” RCB mentioned.
