NEW DELHI: Public sector banks want to aspire to global competitiveness, strengthen governance and operational resilience, and increase their position as sectoral champions throughout each conventional and rising industries, a prime official advised the two-day brainstorming session of state run banks. M Nagaraju, secretary division of monetary companies, underlined that public sector banks have moved past the part of survival and stability and are actually positioned to play a bigger position as champions of development, innovation, and management within the journey in direction of Viksit Bharat by 2047. The dialogue through the two-day “PSB Manthan” emphasised that PSBs ought to aspire to evolve into globally aggressive banks, with the dimensions, presence, and capabilities to assist Indian enterprises abroad and stand alongside main monetary establishments worldwide.
