Kanpur police have registered a case against a man for allegedly burning posters bearing photographs of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi आदित्यनाथ (Yogi Adityanath), and Chief Election Commissioner ज्ञानेश कुमार (Gyanesh Kumar) at Deep Tiraha.

According to police, the incident took place on October 2. Sub-Inspector Sandeep, posted at the Govindnagar police station, lodged the formal complaint against the accused, identified as Krishna Kumar Singh Chak. Authorities have accused him of carrying out the act with the intent to incite riots.

Govindnagar Inspector Ashok Kumar Dubey stated that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
