Speaking at a refill subsidy distribution event, the Chief Minister broke down the pricing structure for domestic cooking gas to recipients. A domestic cylinder costs ₹983.45, with the central government providing a ₹335 subsidy, leaving consumers to pay ₹648.55 from their own pockets, Adityanath noted, adding that the state-funded refill would allow families to save money to purchase festival lamps and sweets.

Contrasting current policy with past administrations, Adityanath asserted that securing a single gas connection during the Congress government involved severe hardships, whereas delivering free connections to low-income households reflects proper governance.

In addition to the welfare announcement, the Chief Minister previewed Ayodhya’s upcoming Deepotsav scheduled for November 7, a cultural event he is visiting the city to review. In a post on social media platform X, Adityanath stated that while past governments used caste divisions as a foundation for politics, the state administration launched Deepotsav in 2017 to convert Ram Nagari’s heritage into an inclusive public festival.

Describing the celebration as an expression of cultural integration, the Chief Minister stated that lamps burn in different hands while their light unites society, calling Shri Ayodhya ji’s Deepotsav a vibrant example of social unity that weaves citizens together through shared faith rather than caste rigidity.
